The orthodontic profession is of great significance to Dr. Navarro. It is a way for him to express a learned talent through dedication and effort for the well-being of his patients. His passion is look at orthodontics a different way the patients see it.
He understands that patients rank satisfaction based on how beautiful a smile is. But, for Dr. Navarro, being an orthodontist is much more than just beautiful smile; it’s about the relationships made along the journey to that beautiful smile.
Dr. Navarro passion about orthodontics is about always giving his best. He understands that no patient is the same as another. When a patient comes in for the first time, he sees them as if they were part of his family and treats them like it. Dr. Navarro loves created personalized treatment for his patients to help them achieve the beautiful smile they have always wanted.
What makes Dr. Navarro very unique is that he understands that parents trust him with their biggest treasure: the well-being and health of their child or themselves. Dr. Navarro always puts his patients’ best interests at the forefront of their treatment. His biggest excitement and motivation comes even before he starts treatment on a patient; he visualizes the result based on the treatment plan and then watches how the smile and bite evolve until the final result is reached – a beautiful smile in functional harmony.

Dr. Navarro enjoys enhancing his knowledge and keeping his excellence up-to-date by participating in continuing education courses worldwide. This allows him to learn new techniques and apply new developments in orthodontics as soon as they are available. He is an advocate of the use of new 3D technology to research and provides the best treatment plan possible. He also enjoys participating in hands-on courses that teach the necessary new skills available to master them appropriately.
Dr. Navarro does not limit his continuing education to orthodontics. He feels that in order to guide, refer, and offer his patients the best treatment options possible, he also has to have knowledge of new developments in other dental specialty fields like TMJ, sleep apnea, aesthetic dentistry/prosthodontics, oral maxillofacial surgery, periodontology, and pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Navarro never stays in a comfort zone in regards to education to offer the best to his patients the same way he would do for his family.

Professional Philosophy
Dr. Navarro-Flores develops his treatment plan to evaluate the functional aspect of the teeth and sees in every patient the opportunity to achieve the perfect bite. This philosophy of treatment is called “gnathological philosophy”. He attended an additional two year postdoctoral program besides his orthodontic graduate residency to learn this philosophy of treatment. The orthodontic gnathological goal is to make sure, by using the best in diagnosis and appliances, that the joints, the muscles, and the bite are in perfect balance or ideal functional harmony.
Outside the Office
Dr. Navarro grew up in a fantastic family environment, the youngest of seven. Currently, he lives in Las Colinas, Texas, and he enjoys the quietness and great atmosphere of this community with the convenience of location to the always vibrant city of Dallas.
Dr. Navarro and his beautiful wife, Gabriela, enjoy spending their free time in the company of their three boys, Marco, David, and Rodrigo, and Diva, their small Havanese dog. Dr. Navarro loves to play with his boys and joke around with them. They all love to play sports together and even mom joins for a round of golf or tossing the football. As much as they enjoy being outside, they also love staying at home cooking together, watching sports on TV, or simply hanging out around each other in the family room.
Community Programs
Dr. Navarro likes to contribute to help under-privileged kids by donating his time to through non-profit organizations in Mexico. He is also active in his church and helps support the various organizations they represent. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Navarro spent a whole year providing dental services to people of low income for free.
